Kannushi 夾白 Hajira Ghuran (born September 8th, 3088) is an Aomorian born noble of House Reticulum. She is a diplomat and a crafter of the house, specializing in starship weaponry.

Appearance[]

Hajira is in her early sixties, though a healthy diet and the sort of medical care only a noble can afford keeps her fairly fit for her age. She is five feet ten inches tall with grey hair tied into a braid typically resting over one shoulder. She is of Indian descent, with dark tan skin.

Early Life[]

Hajira was born on September 8th, 3088, in her family compound in Kahaka Aomori, in the Alvero System. She was the youngest of four siblings, and the only girl out of the four. Born into a long line of crafters and weapon makers, Hajira was educated at a young age at the Imperial Academy of Aomori before training under a Kannushi.

Biography[]

As a young adult, Hajira was fascinated with space combat and starship weaponry. After graduating from to the rank of Kannushi in 3106, Hajira left for Maja, where she began working closely with members of House Fornax. Over the next 72 years she traveled extensively between Aomori and Maja, working with both houses and eventually achieving the rank of kannushi in recognition of her work. In 3149, she recieved Trilliant Life-Extension Therapy, essentially slowing her aging process to a halt.

In 3178 Hajira returned home after two of her brothers were killed in a synth uprising in Kahaka, which also damaged significant portions of the city and claimed hundreds of lives. Believing the act to have been an active attack on House Reticulum by House Cygnus, Hajira stayed on Aomori for the next six years, petitioning House Reticulum to contribute to House Crux’s efforts against Cygnus and eventually join the war themselves. When House Reticulum joined the war effort, she returned to work as a weapons engineer, arming starships for the war against the synthetics.

In 3196 Hajira became the official Reticulum diplomatic representative to House Fornax after the previous representative was lost in space.

Hajira is a member of The Order of the Blue Forest, a group of respected senior members of House Reticulum responsible for matters of government below the Saishu and Asura.

Relationships[]

Hajira is on amicable terms with her mother and father, and speaks with them regularly. Hajira had three brothers; Dipak, Matthew, and Muhammad. The former two were killed during a synth uprising in Kahaka in 3178. Hajira has close ties with her surviving brother Muhammad, who is also her eldest sibling.
