The Cabina Fever is the Psiball team of Cabina and mostly consists of members of Repentant sects. It was sponsored by the Church of Humanity, Repentant before the church's dissolution in 3200.

History

The Cabina Fever is a relatively new Psiball team but has enjoyed reasonable success, considering they do not have the psychic expertise or monetary funds of other teams.

Origins

The origins of the Fever lie in outreach projects meant to foster friendships between humans and Cah-Binn. In order to teach the indigenous species about Human culture, mixed teams of siblings of the Church and Cah-Binn played each other in the commoner's variant of Psiball. But with time (and the Church's increasing membership) more and more human psychics joined the initiative until they formally founded a team under the moniker of Cabina Fever.

Joining the League

Shortly after the Fever's official founding, the Church of Humanity, Repentant funded its entry into the sector's Psiball league, hoping to use the platform as a new way of reaching people in the sector and spreading the message of repentance.

In its first season, the Fever's roster consisted of both humans and Cah-Binn but since enemy teams refused to play against aliens, that quickly changed. Shortly after the first few matches, new rules that formally forbade alien team members were introduced. Since that day the Fever's management tries to lobby for the revocation of those rules.

Search for a New Sponsor

With the dissolution of the Church of Humanity, Repentant in 3200, the Cabina Fever found itself in need of a new sponsor.
